Ameri-Ti’s commitment to quality is exemplified in our proprietary production and testing processes. We have developed a unique manufacturing process which results in the welded section of our tubes having a strength level above that of the base metal and quality superior to the weld areas of competitors’ tubing. This unique process enhances weld area recrystallization and corrosion resistance above minimum industry standards. The corrosion behavior of our weld areas is superior to that of the base metal. Stated simply; Our Tubes Last Longer.
Our unique manufacturing process also ensures our tubes are produced with low transverse hoop stress ranging from negative to 2000 psi. This low hoop stress level provides added flexibility in our products and reduces opportunities for stress related failures. Customers that bend tubes or have vibration failure related issues value the low transverse hoop stress in our products.
Mechanical and corrosion test procedures have also been developed to ensure our products exceed industry standards. These tests provide greater value to our customers by greatly diminishing the potential for any startup failures and demonstrating the extended in-service life of our products.
